Ah yes – Sushi catch 22. Not sure how, but we managed to chomp through $60 worth of sushi for lunch – and it didn’t seem like anything fantastic. As many have mentioned, there are many sushi places around Wellington. Simply for the novelty of having this served on a conveyor belt, this didn’t appear to be worth the effort. Staff were friendly but all in all, there are better sushi places out there.

There are many sushi places in Wellington, and The Catch Sushi Bar is one of my favorites, producing fresh, high quality and delicious sushi for many years!!
There staff is friendly and helpful, serving you as soon as you step into the wonderful environment!!

Just average in terms of sushi. When you have the likes of wasabi sushi on Cuba and asahi across the road, well theyre both close and of better quality. Also, for a sushi train they lacked variety and you didn’t know what was on the plates – most sushi trains I have been to have a detailed menu of goods going around. Staff were nice though!

When I first came across catch sushi bar on of my trips to Wellington.I thought very nice sushi bar.Each time I make my yearly trip to Wellington.I enjoy eating there.The staff are very frendly and make you feel welcome when you arrive.The fun is when you are eat while watching the difffent types of sushi go by which are all very yummy plus overall good value for money as well plus I love eating there when I make my yearly trip to Wellington.If one loves sushi it is a great spot to eat at.

This place was very overpriced for average food. Some of the pieces on the train looked like they had been going around and round all day. The only reason I believe one would want to eat here is for the experience. Definitely not the food.
