I get the $13 Charcoal Chicken pack and a Garlic Roll every time I visit Gerry’s and have always enjoyed it. Sometimes the chicken does seem to be a little dry but the chips are always great and have delicious seasoning. I’m always served by the same guy who, although he doesn’t go for small talk, is always efficient with getting my meal to me.

Wow business must really be booming for Gerry’s. We purchased a large portoin on their plate of veges which says it has roast potatoes, peas, corns, carrots & gravy. There were 3 potatoes which was absolutely pathetic and we paid almost $12 for that?!?!
We rang them to tell them we thought this was a bit mean considering this is their large size and we paid $12 fr 3 potates and some carrots, corn and peas and he told me that was what it was and if we didn’t like it, we didn’t have to go back there. He made no attempt to remedy it or keep our business. When we told him we wouldn’t go back, he said that was fine by him.
Shame because the chips there are really yummy. In summary, overpriced and not really worth it considering what you are paying. Go to Roast House instead or KFC if you are wanting chicken.
I wish them all the best and obviously they are doing so well our custom isn’t needed. What a joke!

SOOOOOO GOOD! OMG!!! I remember goign here after college to get the yummy chips and over the years have also visited and its been just as good. Now that I live in Auckland it sucks but cant wait to go in over my holiday during easter break. Please put a menu up!! 5 stars

Really unhappy with our meals, all at the table said it tasted funny, politely and quietly spoke to the guy working about it but was met with a less than helpful response and were told that we were wrong and it was our taste buds not his food and that we should have asked what it would taste like. We eat out often and know what tastes good and what doesn’t. We weren’t asking for a refund or anything were just trying to make him aware. My advice is get some front of house staff cause this guy clearly doesn’t know anything about customer service. Like i said we eat out alot and we will definitely not be returning there mostly because of his attitude.

Went there for dinner. Portion is very generous and price is good but taste is quite bland tho…
