Fantastic service. Every detail attended to, food was delicious and I really recommend the cocktails! We even made life difficult by deciding we wanted to order a starter after we had already ordered our mains, yet this caused very little hassle and everything arrived hot and tasting fantastic.

I really wanted to like this place.
The restaurant is beautiful, and the staff were very friendly and polite (even though the waitress removed our entrees before we’d finished them).
However the food is just so disappointing! Both the mains of my partner and I tasted like they had been microwaved. The food was WAY too hot, was mushy and very bland. I couldn’t even eat half of my chicken parmigiana, it was just a waste of time. However, the coleslaw that came as my side was incredible. If I could go in and buy it takeaway I would do this as often as possible.
Overall though, Osteria Del Toro is not worth the trip, especially for how expensive it is. -

This is an absolutely beautiful restaurant and the best restaurant for big groups. I’ve been a couple of times for the shared family Sunday lunch which starts off with a buffet of the yummiest authentic Mediterranean dishes; salads, meats, dips, breads and is followed by pastas, pizzas and paellas – it’s a hit with everyone, so much beautiful food.

Ordered a feast menu but were never told that we had to pay for the number of people that they rang earlier in the day to confirm. As is not uncommon, several where unable to make it at the last minute but we still had to pay for them as we were told that food had been prepared for the number confirmed.
Had they been able to come we all would have gone away unsatisfied as, while the food was nice, there would not have been enough for 2 additional people.
It put a dampener on what was otherwise a fun evening. I suggest caution and that larger groups especially are aware of what costs they will be up for – regardless of how many actually turn up. -

I went here on a Sunday night, the place is beautiful and had a nice environment when we first arrived but the staff (all beautiful young woman) seemed not care and sort of put a damper on the feel of the place.
The food itself is not cheap, and was alright, not exceptional or anything so I don’t feel the need to go back.
