Was really disappointed. We had a voucher from a daily deal site and the pictures of the food looked amazing.. Sadly the pictures were the most appetizing thing there. The roti was small and dry, the chicken curry was more carrot than anything else. The rice was stodgy and glumpy. and the satay sticks were chewy and dry.
would not go back.

This little place is a hidden jewel. It should have a queue all day long. Their satay is the best in NZ, their rice is delicious, not plain, flavourless rice, but made with pandang leaves. Their noodles are so good as well. I don;t eat meat, so I must say this is the cheapest and more delicious meat-free food around. Their prices are very low, huge portions and the staff is super friendly. Always with a smile and always doing everything so one leave one happy customer.

Very yummy satay! Staff are super friendly. Really good value with the lunch combos and very filling, have been back 5 times and will continue to go back

Love this place . Delicious food, their satay is the best I’ve had in wellington! healthy and very well priced, for $4.80 i can get a satay roti wrap, sticky rice and a satay stick, more than enough for lunch. The $10 combos are also great value and the staff are really friendly and accommodating (can basically customise your combos by swapping things in and out). Plus their after 3 specials are awesome (stuff thrown in for free!)

I have been meaning to try Satay Me for a few weeks now and I can honestly say I don’t know why I waited so long. The staff were friendly and the food tasted great. I have a pretty big appetite but my duo combo was surprisingly filling. I can’t wait to go back again!
