Cuisine 5+
Service 1.5
Balancing to a 3 overall.
Arriving there was a staff member, we can only assume, hunched over the pass eating – first impression -5 as this can’t be hygienic!
Although the staff were friendly and we had BYO wine – which they never poured nor offered to do so… my partner was purchasing his beverages and never did they offer him another, he continuously had to search out a staff member to ask – even for water!
The Cuisine however is a wonderful combination of flavours, good portions and amazing presentation….
Improve the service and I will be back in a heart beat! -

After meaning to dine at Soprano for the longest time, we enjoyed a fantastic winter lunch there. The atmosphere is small and cosy without feeling cramped. The window seats would make a great spot for people watching over a fine meal. The menu features a good range of Italian and Italian-inspired options. My partner had the Soprano grill, which was a filling meal of bacon, egg, portabello mushroom, chorizo, rocket and feta potato cake on sourdough while I enjoyed a perfectly executed chef’s risotto. The service was excellent without being intrusive, from calling to make a booking to being greeted at the door and right throughout our meal. We will definitely be back and hope to have room for dessert next time.

Next few times I go it will be five, but since it was my first dinner there, I can only say! Service was Excellent! They really knew their stuff, what was on the menu, all ingredients, and most of all it satisfied.
My taste buds fully! there was nothing left on my plate!
Atmosphere was relaxed as you would expect. Chefs, accommodating and friendly.
Would HIGHLY Recommend
Mama and Aunty were very happy

Very nice. Had a number of meals here and even though it’s small, the food is awesome and service excellent. I would like a bigger wine list, but the choice it still good. You know you want to, so Just do it!!!!!!!!

After receiving rave reviews from friends and colleagues, my partner and I decided we just had to try it out! .. First impressions of the layout was far too cluttered, however given the small premises, we felt that was to be expected. We were seated in the centre of the café, with very little space, after noticing other available tables, we were instructed that the other tables were already booked (funny that, they remained empty) … The initial service was excellent, with the specials of the day given, water and wine arrived promptly. Following placing our entrée and first course orders, we were surprised to see others who arrived and ordered after us, were served before us, the wait was approximately 40 mins (the bottle of wine almost gone!) Finally the brochette and calamari arrived, yes it was tasty, however the calamari was chewy, and there was no depth in favour to either of these. The main was served approximately 40 min following, and to our disgust, the plates were cold, and the meals were luke warm (pork and bolognaise order – following a request for cannelloni, which was out of stock!!) … no dessert or coffee was ordered, due to the completion of the main at 9pm, please note we arrived for our seating at 7.30pm (lucky we had some great stuff to talk about which could fill in the time). Could’ve been just a bad night, but Sorry Sopranos, perhaps our expectations were just too high
