Not being in Wellington that often for food. We had eaten mains at another restaurant that had the worse service ever! Friend recommended this place for desert. There was 3 in our party.
I had the apple pie which was moist, fresh and a good size. I’m big, and enjoy large portions, so this was a nice surprise.
There was approx 5 other parties there, 2 with 8 plus people.
Service was excellent! As it was near closing time, a little while after we arrived, the waitress advised she was turning of the coffee machine soon, and then before it was done. Asked us again if we wanted one before it was turned of.
The best aspect, the following day while standing at a set of lights, our waitress was there, remembered part of our conversation from the previous night, and asked how it had gone?! That’s service! I’ll be back, and I tend to make it every time I in wellington! Thank you.

Came here for dessert with a group of 18, and yes I would agree with those below the desserts are to die for! Had the banoffi pie, it was amazingly good. Warning though it is extremely rich and I could not (much to my discontent) finish the whole lot. I would recommend sharing it! Worth the price too. The staff were friendly and the service was impressively fast considering there was 18 of us. I am definitely going back here again!

First time going to the new location which was very beautiful and modern. My boyfriend ordered the steak medium-rare and it was cooked well done, we were never approached by wait staff so could not convey our disappointment about this. I had the duck, the potatoes were very undercooked and raw in the center and the whole dish lacked flavor, I must admit though the duck was cooked to perfection. Our drinks were never asked to be refreshed which was a problem and we both do enjoy a nice drink with dinner. Desert was to die for as usual. Overall the evening there was a disappointment and lacked the warmth of the original restaurant and main course was substandard. I for one won’t be going back

Ok my partner and I have been here twice just to make sure the first time wasnt a fluke. And nope it wasn’t the desserts are to die for but can be a tad expensive. Will be working our way through that two page dessert menu before the end of 2012

Came here for desert and hot chocolates for my wife’s birthday. The service was fast and friendly even though the place was packed. I ordered the lack forest tower, it was a well constructed clever dish, that had multiple layers to enjoy. Best desert I’ve had at a restaurant.
