This is my local and I’ve been here many times either for lunch, dinner or takeaways. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting to eat good Indian food. I am an Indian so I should know.
The food price is affordable and the food is good. Apart from their Biryani which is not good, all the other dishes are great.
The restaurant is clean and has a nice decor.
So go try it out.

We enjoy takeaways from this restaurant every week sometimes twice a week. The prior review that stated the dishes all taste the same is complete rubbish they do not. We like the fact the service is consistent, fast and food always hot and very nice to eat. We have never had a poor experience and I recommend this venue as an affordable place to eat. The only recommendation I have is that they could develop the childrens menu a bit.

This restaurant is affordable which in this economy is a great thing.

While the food was very good and plentiful, the service wasn’t. Used GrabOne voucher for dining. When paying the person behind the counter insisted that I should’ve bought alcohol with my meal as the voucher indicated ‘Food must be consumed with any alcohol purchased.”

The guy ‘letting it go’ this time but next time I should just buy alcohol there, and maybe some food. Obviously this is Tulsi’s way of making a bundle as food only doesn’t provide a lot of profit.

Will never go back to a business which is a devious, deceitful and dishonest like this. I have use tens of vouchers all over Wellington, and this is the first time that anyone told me that I had to buy alcohol in a restaurant.

went for lunch with a child..no problems, even thoughtful enough to bring a spoon will be back again for sure.the food was yum the service super and the loos lovely!great price too!couldnt fault it.

Decor lovely and fresh, staff friendly.

Unfortunately the actual curry dishes were not up to par. We ordered 5 different curries and only 2 of them tasted different. It was clear there were 2 base curries and even then they were lacking in real flavour and missing the finishing with fresh herbs such as coriander.

The dessert was a shocker. Described as chocolate cake and it was a mass produced commercial banana cake with a chocolate icing. Husband ate as the portion sizes of the curries were mostly curry and light on the meat or veges.

Would have to say the dishes lacked authentic heat and spices and wouldn’t dine again.
